My name is Ani Cavagnaro a former chemist, with my love for soap and spa products creating the foundation and passion for my company. I have received many gifts from friends and family over the years and in the end they are forgotten or put into stored areas of my home and not thought of until cleaning time has approached. My thoughts in creating Soap Basket Boutique by Ani was to build a company that you can purchase beautiful soap and spa products from around the world and never leave the comfort of your home or workplace. How many times have you tried to shop at the last minute and had to settle for traditional gifts that you were not happy with and knew you could do better?

My business thoughts started after I survived breast cancer in 2007 and wanted to do something that I loved and felt I could share with others. My love for my family and being the best mother of three boys has always been the center of my life, but for my own self-esteem I needed to create something that was personal and fun for me as I went through my own health issues. In the end, I asked my family what they thought and they told me to get going and that’s all I needed to hear!
